Hi I m Chris from Malta, and about a year ago I adopted 2 kakarikis.
I am just wondering if what I have is a cock or a hen.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Be welcome! The Green-yellow one seems to be a cock for me, and the other one a hen. What do the others think about it?

I think the green one is a male, but about Cinnamon I am not sure...
Why are you asking, aren´t they getting on with each other?
Are a lot of Kakariki kept for pets at Malta?

I think both are cocks.

Not really they are quite rare.
I am probably one of the few who has kakarikis.
They go along together perfectly fine, I'm just wondering. Trying to learn more about my kakariki.
I am wondering how you guys go about recognizing a male from a female.

Fair enough :)
Just thought there would be something to look out for in a male for example or something particular in a female

Indeed there are differences in the appearance ofthe male vs female kakariki. the females look is somewhat smaller, the beak looks samller too. But there are differences in the mutations too.
Please look at this site, there are some examples:
