Sufficient space to move is of the admost importance to the quality of life for Kakariki. Too much is not possible. However if kakariki share the apartment with us people , it must be ensured that the, to the birds accessible, area is also safe. the birds, especially if they still not properly know the premises, are able to fly. • Power cords, which can be bitten through. • Toxic houseplants. • Lines, cords coarsely meshed curtains where in birds can get tangled. • Heat sources, such as light bulbs, candles, etc. • Sharp objects such as knives, scissors. • Customizers, such as adhesive tapes. • Open Niches in which the birds can crawl into it, but not out • Half open cartons. • Left over alcohol, coffee or tea remains. • Salted snacks. • Dogs and cats, including the ones that have been kind and gentle to the birds over a long period of time More hazards, which are
